Dimitra Papanikolaou finished high school in Volos and continued her studies at the University of Patras, from where she graduated in Theatre Studies. She decides to turn professional in dance, in which as an amateur she was constantly engaged from an early age.

She graduated from Rallou Manou’s higher dance school.

She has participated as a volunteer interpreter at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games Athens 2004.
